I agree. I probably won't post often (unless I have a problem emoticon ), but I certainly will be lurking and learning.

I've already learned something new, so keep up the good work.

I have a question and that is regarding 'popular features' and Q&A, why do you need both of these forums if you have answers for most already it the other named area? Isn't this going to be confusing?

The idea is to have:

- a neat area for instructions on how to use/install features, and;

- a separate area for questions and comments.

'Popular Features' is a read-only forum where you can see 'uncluttered' directions for installing features.

However, if you have a question about any feature, or anything else board-related, you need to go to 'Q&A' and post there.

  Hi fellow admins and owners. I don't like the full idea of a Read Only forum. Tips & Tricks was a great forum because you could post great new things that you find and have other owners and admins use them and have your trick go on for a while.
  If the forum is read only, then only a few admins will be able to post and the trick will eventually lose it's touch because it wanders onto page 2. Can you explain in more detail why the forums are read only?

Better still, I'll explain simply why some of the forums are 'read only'.

People come here to see what features are on offer and how they can install them on their board. That information is kept in the 'read only' forums. They get 'clean and concise' information, not a mess of questions and comments.

But, if they have a question about any subject in the 'read only' forums, then they go to Q&A and ask the question. You'll see that there are already some threads started in Q&A which carry the same or similar titles as in the 'read only' forum.

And you can post all the New stuff you want in the 'New' forum. If it's good enough, it'll end up all neat and tidy in the 'Popular' or 'Advanced' forums for other people to use.

But, will admins and owners recieve credit? Will it just be moved or reposted?
