Re: Coding Ethics?

Mhmm Imma try to do it tonight, I'll edit this post and post a screenshot if I do lol.

Image

Haven't got the links clickable yet, lol.. You know making this is making a hack for ie6 too lol. Ah well once I get this to my liking I can just always use it as a screenshot lol.

But Imma getting tired of looking up for the time (My Time on linux is on the top panel), so I think I am gonna log back into linux, and I'll probably just take my medicine and go to bed, I forgot I have a few things to do tomorrow.. was gonna pull an all-nighter.

Yeah I was thinking about adding something like that Queeny, But a lot of the people who are using IE6 don't know that they are, they just think of the little blue E as 'the internet' so with the code Lesa posted, it would single out the IE6 user and tell them they have a 7 year old browser.

Yeah, I might have to shrink the icons and put what the browsers are called, I made the bg white cause I am lazy and didn't want to shave the icons emoticon

Well it's not rude if it's true emoticon This board looks a lot better in firefox, than IE7 I think the miscoptbar looked really funky funky in IE7 but Lesa fixed it.. and there were some padding issues and what not. But in IE8 the misccoptbar looks fine in other skins that use similar coding.

But in IE7 they look like this, without Lesa's fix:

Too True! Often wonder how many (or IF) I have lost any members, because the site looks like crap in they're old browsers or even in the newest IE! emoticon
But as you can see....I'm really(insert sarcasm here) worried about it! emoticon

Maybe you should use...

<!--[if IE]>
Some announcement here
<![endif]-->

...to make an announcement to all IE users that their browser sucks. emoticon
